In the third quarter of 2024, the air travel app sector on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates saw varied performance trends across its top five applications. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app.

Air Arabia (official app) experienced a notable spike in downloads, particularly in the last week of September, reaching approximately 5.8K. Throughout the quarter, active users increased, peaking at around 11.8K by the end of September.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed a steady revenue flow, with weekly revenue fluctuating between $500 and $800, peaking at $812 in late July. Downloads saw a significant peak in late July at 3.5K, while active users reached 6K by the end of September.

flydubai maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 2.3K in the final week. Active user numbers rose slightly towards the end of the quarter, reaching 3.8K.

Emirates had a steady download trend with a slight increase towards the end of September, reaching 2.1K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 5K.
